You’re invited to the 4th Annual Shoemaker Awards, an inspiring, entertaining event celebrating stellar Moonshot Flagstaff Campus entrepreneurs and leaders. We’ll be celebrating our 2025 Mission Control Award Winner, our 2025 Shoemaker Award Winner, and our Campus Community Builder Award.

  • Moonshot's Mission Control Award 2025

    This award is given to a volunteer who helps to serve Moonshot's non-profit mission and embodies energy and passion for entrepreneurship.

    The award recipients for 2025: Paul Sciame, Moonshot Board Member and Entrepreneur in Residence

  • The Shoemaker Award - 2024 & 2025

    This award is given to a Moonshot Flagstaff Campus company who has successfully landed their mission and is creating job growth in Flagstaff.

  • The Campus Community Builder Award

    This award is given to a Moonshot Flagstaff Campus tenant (individual) who builds community on campus and embodies a spirit of collaboration and service. This award is voted on by campus tenants.

Enjoy an array of heavy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, beer and wine, and non-alcoholic drinks at the incredible Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Why are the Moonshot Entrepreneur Awards called The Shoemaker Awards?

Image of Carolyn Shoemaker standing beside astronomical equipment, with text honoring her achievements in astrogeology. She and her husband established the USGS Center for Astrogeology. Noted for holding records in comet discoveries and other contributions to astronomy, she began her career at 51 after working as a teacher and homemaker.
