Years ago, the City of Flagstaff received two EDA Grants that helped fund construction of both campus buildings. The grant rules stipulate that only companies that fall into one or more of these categories can apply to rent space at the Moonshot's Flagstaff Campus:

  • Technology sector

  • Clean energy

  • Light manufacturing 

  • Bio-tech and/or bio-engineering

  • Digital products

  • Emerging technology

  • Purpose of job creation in greater Flagstaff​​ ​

  • Tourism

  • Astronomy fields
